There are many programs at Keene Mill as well as in FCPS that support the implementation of evidence-based practices to increase the academic achievement and the social and emotional competence of students based on individual needs.

Inclusion Resource

The special education resource teacher provides support individually, in small groups and in the classroom for students with autism, emotional disabilities, and physical disabilities.

Learning Disabilities

The learning disabilities resource teachers test and screen children who may have learning disabilities. The LD teachers work with identified children individually and in small groups, and closely coordinate their program with the classroom teacher.

Speech

A speech teacher is available to help children who have articulation, voice, fluency, and/or language disorders.
