Dr. Traylor Recognized as FCPS 2020 Region 4 Outstanding School-based Professional Employee
Congratulations to our instructional coach Thmeaka Traylor who was recognized as the FCPS 2020 Region 4 Outstanding School-based Professional Employee!
Thmeaka generously contributes to FCPS as a school leader and instructional coach. Her work's impact is evidenced by the exceptional student achievement and numerous awards Keene Mill has received, including the National Blue Ribbon Exemplary High Performing School Award. Dr. Traylor’s devotion to closing the achievement gap for all students is evident as she trains IAs in math interventions, supports the implementation of Math Workshop, and utilizes the coaching cycle to support staff. Thmeaka works with the STEAM Team to create an engaging and creative program that students look forward to weekly. One student recalled, "Dr. Traylor really helps me work well in groups and teaches me about teamwork. She always knows how to help me specifically….without giving me the answer”.
