The Student Council Association (SCA) plans spirit days for the students and staff, they think of ways to better serve the school, hold fundraisers, plan and assist with the Helping Games, and they strive to be strong leaders who represent their school with pride. Keene Mill fifth and sixth graders participate in a simulation that mimics the federal election process: campaigning, speech writing and delivery, and election day. Through this simulation, students better understand the democratic process, and they select peers to hold office as part of the SCA.
